uPen is a downloadable title for the Nintendo Comet, scheduled for release in 2015. It will center around drawing on the touch screen using the stylus, allowing players to complete missions using the stylus to draw.

Gameplay

The game will feature two main modes. The first is a story mode, which players can use to complete the fifty missions to beat the game. These revolve heavily around the touchscreen and stylus, while incorporating usage of the TV as well. Most of the missions involve completing a certain task, such as reaching the finish of the level, erasing swarms of enemies, speed drawing, etc. The gameplay is similar to that of Drawn to Life.

The second mode involves free drawing, where players can draw and paint images to their liking. The images can have resolutions of up to 1920x1080, and if the player suspends the software to open the internet browser, they can copy existing images to paste onto their drawings. They can be uploaded to the uPen Gallery, which allows users to favorite drawings. Users can also export their own drawings to an SD card as a .png, which they can then transfer to their computer. All drawings must be approved before being submitted, a feature made to resolve complaints with Swapnote.
